The course, institutional in nature and preparatory to all subjects in the business area, addresses the fundamental issues underlying the business phenomenon, both in its structural and functional dimensions.
More specifically, during the course, the following topics will be covered:
- The organization, the company, and their essential components
- Capital
- The company and its environment
- Management as a system of operations
- The economic dimension of management: costs, revenues, income
- Economic equilibrium
- Cost analysis and determination
- The financial dimension of management
- Financial balance and risk
- Accounting and financial statements
The exam includes a written test (quiz) and an oral exam.
Note: Mandatory reservation via Virtual Secretary (ESSE3) - Reservations close 5 days before the exam date.
