Internship forms
The curricular internship is an experience aimed at completing university education, through practical activities carried out in internal or external structures to the University, and the acquisition of university credits (3 CFU) as provided in the study programs of degree courses.
Who it is for: students of the degree programs related to the Department, students of Master's programs, and graduates. In the latter case, they must contact the Orientation, Tutoring, and Placement office.
Each student is required to complete this training internship, as prescribed by the educational regulations of the Economics degree programs, in order to earn 3 university credits.
NECESSARY STEPS FOR THE ACTIVATION OF THE INTERNSHIP
A - First phase – Starting the internship
1. Choose a company of interest
a) the choice falls among the companies in agreement with the DIIIE Department(CLICK HERE TO VIEW THE LIST OF ACTIVE INTERNSHIP AGREEMENTS) List updated as of April 26, 2023.
In this case, the student must fill out an original training project, and must obtain all the required signatures on the document (company legal representative, company tutor, university tutor). The documents must also be stamped by the company.
b) the choice does not fall among the companies in agreement with the DIIIE Department
In this case, the student, in addition to filling out the training project, following the instructions in point a), must also deliver the agreement model published on the website to the company, which must be prepared in a single original copy, signed, stamped, and accompanied by a revenue stamp of 48 euros;
2. Identify a university tutor
Choose a university professor who can supervise the internship and agree on all activities (it must necessarily be a professor from the student's degree program). Typically, the supervisor is chosen as the thesis advisor;
3. Complete the paperwork
Fill out all the forms (see the bottom of this page) with the help of the company tutor and university tutor. The documentation must be complete with all signatures and the company stamp;
4. Submit all documentation to the Departmental Educational Offer Programming and Quality Assurance Office (DIIIE)
The submission must occur at least two weeks before the start of the internship to allow for processing of the request.
B - Second phase – Conducting the internship
1. The intern must follow all instructions in the training project and strictly adhere to company guidelines.
The internship must take place within the authorized period indicated in the training project, and cannot occur before or after the authorized period.
If an extension is required, it must be requested by the company via email to the Departmental Educational Offer Programming and Quality Assurance Office.
2. Complete the attendance sheet
Each intern must complete an attendance sheet, which must be signed by both the intern and the company tutor. A form available at the company may also be used.
C – Third phase – End of the internship
1. Submit the following documents to theDepartmental Educational Offer Programming and Quality Assurance Office .
The intern must submit the following documentation:
a - Internship completion declaration signed by the company tutor
b - Attendance sheet signed by the intern and signed and stamped by the company tutor
c - Report on the activities carried out, signed only by the intern
d - Internship completion declaration signed by the academic tutor
